Position Description
We are looking for a Technology and Innovation Manager to facilitate Zubatkin’s transition to multiple new platforms that will support the firm’s internal operations, project management, and accounting/cost control needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, & Construction (A/E/C) industry on the digitization of project management, design and construction management processes. Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., e-Builder), work flows, cost and document management best practices will also be particularly beneficial.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work closely with management to understand current challenges and develop the overall technology strategy for company operations
- Develop a clear plan including scope, cost, schedule for technology systems initiatives
- Lead and coordinate the research, evaluation, selection and implementation of technology systems for functions such as project management, resource planning, financial reporting, accounting/project controls and data management
- Serve as the company’s primary point of contact and technology champion for the implementation and maintenance of the technology systems selected
- Configure, manage, and update the selected project management platform (e.g., e-Builder)
- Create analytics dashboards, reports, and templates for both company and project-specific uses
- Lead the development of company workflows and procedures for financial and operations management, project and cost management and document management activities.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience working in a collaborative environment to build support for new technologies and software applications
- Strong understanding of technology systems utilized in the A/E/C industry and a desire to learn new technologies
- Knowledge of design/construction contract delivery methods and workflow/reporting processes
- Track record of managing task priorities and keeping to deadlines to implement new systems
- Excellent project management and communication skills, including the ability to clearly distill complex concepts and software tools to a broad audience
- Self-starting and motivated person with the ability to break down the big picture into small, achievable process and goals
- Professional degree with a specialization in architecture, engineering, construction, or information technology/computer science
New York City Equal Pay Disclaimer
Zubatkin carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s experience, education, and training. The estimated salary for this position is $130,000 – $150,000/ year, plus full benefits.

This position will be based in our New York City office.
