Camp Mahackeno Completed for Summer Opening

We are thrilled to announce the opening of Camp Mahackeno at the Westport Weston Family YMCA to campers for the summer season. The camp features the full renovation of the Beck Lodge, a new Pool Lodge, L-shape pool for instructional and recreational swimming and splash pad.  Other activity areas include a new amphitheater, giant slides, bouldering wall, program pavilions, expanded playground, archery range and multi-purpose field.  A new trail system provides camper and member access to the beautiful environment and improved waterfront access and boardwalk.  Congratulations to the whole project team on this exciting accomplishment!

On Tuesday, the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club was honored by receiving a Merit Award for the design of its new facility at the virtual AIA Honors & Awards Luncheon. Rogers & Partners was the architect. Zubatkin was proud to have played a role in managing the planning and development of this project. Congratulations to the project team!

The Country Club of New Canaan is Ready for Summer

To further its mission of providing the highest level of service to its members, The Country Club of New Canaan embarked on the development of a new pool and pool facility, as well as the reconstruction of the turn-of-the-century clubhouse. We’re pleased to share that we’ve recently received the final Certificate of Occupancy for this project, which allowed for a soft opening in time for Memorial Day.

Last week, KBE-NY hosted a celebration to honor women in the construction, real estate, and design fields. The event was held at the Dacor Luxury Showroom in the Architectural & Design building, and featured accomplished women in a range of A/E/C industry professions. We are proud to share that Zubatkin’s very own Kate Farewell, PE was recognized for her contribution to the industry and honored at the event. Congratulations, Kate!
