With over thirty years of experience, David is an owner’s representative and project manager with a background that spans the design and construction fields. His portfolio covers new construction, renovations and expansions and has a focus on museums, exhibits, cultural facilities and high-end residential developments. He is also particularly knowledgeable in the delivery of historically sensitive projects, including buildings that have been designated as Landmarks or located within historic districts. Notable clients have included the American Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Historical Society, U.S. Post Office and Courthouse in Brooklyn, Smithsonian Institution and The Greenwich Lane.
Prior to joining Zubatkin, David was responsible for directing the Museum and Cultural Division for a major construction management firm. His diverse experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the project delivery process, including the means and methods of construction, project phasing and logistics, contracting plans, cost estimating, construction market trends, contract negotiations and change management. He is often sought out for his expertise and serves as an important resource to the firm’s In-House Technical Group.
