In collaboration with other members of the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) NYC Chapter, Jason Zubatkin led a workshop on the development of capital improvement projects for a group of community-based cultural institutions in Brooklyn. The goal of the workshop was to help organizations explore ways in which they might better serve their mission and surrounding community through a clear process and good design. The discussions touched on a variety of topics, including feasibility, budgeting, programming, space planning, design, scheduling, permitting, and construction.
