We’re thrilled to share that the New-York Historical Society, the oldest museum in New York, is expanding by adding over 70,000 square feet to its building! The project will create space for the American LGBTQ+ Museum, the first museum dedicated to LGBTQ history and culture in the City. The project will also significantly increase classroom space for the institution’s Academy for American Democracy Program, which is expected to accommodate about 30,000 public school students when completed.
Zubatkin has been working with the New-York Historical Society, Robert A. M. Stern and project team on the feasibility and due diligence efforts that supported the project in reaching this important milestone. Read more in the press release issued by The New York Times.
