Saint David’s School Beam Signing Ceremony

Members of Saint David’s School joined with the project team on Thursday, April 27th, to celebrate the completion of the steel framework on the new renovation and expansion of Saint David’s School on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. During the ceremony, the Head of School and Chair of the Building Committee led the signing of the beams on the six-story, 100,000 square-foot building. Jackie Robinson Museum Groundbreaking

Jackie Robinson Museum Groundbreaking

A product of the hard work by the Jackie Robinson Foundation and the project team, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve broken ground on the Jackie Robinson Museum project!  Beyond a permanent tribute to Jackie Robinson’s pioneering legacy and role as a catalyst for the Civil Rights Movement, the Museum will serve as a venue for vibrant dialogue on critical social issues and as a destination for innovative educational programming. The Jackie Robinson Museum will commemorate the life and legacy of a true American hero through an exploration of his commitment to service and to the achievement of “first class citizenship” for all Americans. It will be a prominent stop on existing cultural routes in Lower Manhattan, just blocks from the Freedom Tower and 9/11 Memorial. Zubatkin has been working with the Jackie Robinson Foundation on the planning, design, and implementation strategy for this new museum. The project team includes Gensler as Design Architect and Ralph Appelbaum as Exhibition Designer. Additional information available in the NYTimes.

We are currently working with Ronald McDonald House New York on the renovation and expansion of their facility.  The project will increase the House’s capacity and improve the quality of life for the patients they host by adding six post-transplant suites and eleven additional family units, relocating the wellness center, upgrading the mechanical systems, and expanding dining room seating.  Other capital improvements, including window refurbishments and a lobby renovation, will also be implemented.  The project will be completed in June of 2017.
