The annual award will be presented to a person who personifies the values and embodies the spirit that Erica represented every single day, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, an interest in mentorship and developing peers, a passion for resolving a particular challenge, empathy towards others, and a commitment to community service. The program was developed as a way to honor her life and commemorate her longstanding influence and to foster a culture that aligns with Zubatkin’s values of character and integrity.

We’re very pleased to recognize Larissa Albert as our inaugural award recipient. Larissa has been a key part of the Zubatkin team for over twelve years and leads our Project Controls department. The Jewish Home of Rockleigh’s short-term rehab and aquatic center building continues to make good progress. A time-lapse video of the construction from the past two months can be found here. When completed, the overall project will allow the Jewish Home to expand its services to outpatients and create a better experience for everyone using their rehabilitation programs. Join us for a Construction Management Webinar hosted by Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP on February 2, 2021 at 9:00AM! As part of this session, construction attorneys Kenneth Block and Joshua Levy, and Zubatkin Principal Matthew Doherty will discuss strategies for addressing construction defects and failures arising from faulty workmanship or materials. Selective contractual provisions designed to protect the owner against construction defects and failures will be offered. Elm Community Charter School Celebrates Groundbreaking

We’re excited to share that the Elm Community Charter School broke ground on its four-story school building in Queens! When completed, the new facility will provide a vital educational resource to a neighborhood that has long experienced overcrowding in its local public schools.

The project is being implemented by the landlord/developer, Liberty One Group, and Zubatkin has been representing Elm Community Charter School’s interests in the lease negotiations, design, and construction of the project.
